Your Metro Tampa
Culturally diverse, Tampa Bay has something for everyone. Whether it’s waterside dining or lunch at the original Columbia Restaurant on Seventh Avenue in historic Ybor City, touring the Serengeti in Busch Gardens, enjoying a performance at the world-class Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, visiting a museum or gallery or just spending a day shopping; you can always find a wealth of diversions. From the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to hockey’s Stanley Cup-winning Lightning to the New York Yankees, whose spring training games are at Legends Field, there is plenty for the sports fan. Going west, the Tampa area is just minutes from the sugar white sands of the Gulf and the nation's top-ranked beach Fort DeSoto.

With several major highways converging in Tampa, such as I-4, Highway 60, I-75, Highway 301 and I-275, access anywhere in the state and surrounding areas is a breeze.

Located on the west coast of Florida, Tampa has evolved into a multi-cultural, diverse business center, and is home to over 2 million residents. Tampa Bay is the west coast anchor of Florida's High Tech Corridor, which boasts superb business opportunities and a vibrant economy. Tampa's annual pirate invasion, known as Gasparilla, is a 100 year old tradition. Every February, hundreds of swashbucklers sail into Tampa Bay with cannons blazing, on their pirate ship and take to the streets in a colorful parade. And the Gasparilla pirates aren't the only popular Buccaneers in Tampa Bay!

Tampa offers a wide variety of museums, performance halls, festivals, galleries and has the largest performing arts center in the southeast--making it a cultural oasis. Combine a perfect climate, sunny beaches, and a variety of attractions, and it's easy to understand why the Tampa Bay area is a popular place to live and raise a family!
